Dato’ Wong Siew Hai Independent Non-Executive Director

Dato’ Wong Siew Hai is an Independent Non-Executive Director of LKT. He was appointed to the Board on 4 June 2007.

Dato’ Wong holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Leeds, England and a MSc. in Management Science, Imperial College Of Science & Technology, University Of London, England.

Having worked with established MNCs for over three decades, Dato’ Wong brought with him a vast knowledge of the technology industry. He was previously attached to Intel serving as Vice President for Technology Manufacturing Group and General Manager of Assembly Test Manufacturing. Dato’ Wong is also actively involved in trade & industry associations as well as government agencies, in which he holds prominent portfolios as follows:

• Member of the Board of Governor of AmCham (American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce)
• Chairman of MAEI (Malaysian American Electronics Industry)
• Board Member of Matrade (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation, a sub group of MITI)
• Board Member of Invest-in-Penang Berhad
• Member of the Electronics Industry Advisory Panel recently established by the Malaysian Industrial   Development Authority (MIDA)
• Member of the Penang State K-ICT (industrial) Steering Council
• Committee member of MICCI, Northern Region (Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and   Industry)
